What is Pierce Cutting?

Pierce cutting is the process of cutting out a shape or pattern from within a larger piece of wood or material. This technique is particularly useful for creating delicate and intricate designs, such as fretwork, detailed inlays, or ornate decorations. The key to mastering pierce cutting lies in the ability to cut out the interior of a design without damaging the surrounding material.
